A falling climber does not load the system with their body weight — they load it with several times that, and the top runner takes more than the climber does. This works out impact force from the fall factor, multiplies it through the pulley at the runner, splits it across the legs of your anchor at whatever angle you rigged, and warns you when the geometry alone has doubled the load.
