📚 How Metabolic Age is Calculated

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, the most accurate formula for BMR estimation:

For Men:
BMR = (10 × weight) + (6.25 × height) − (5 × age) + 5
For Women:
BMR = (10 × weight) + (6.25 × height) − (5 × age) − 161

Metabolic Age is estimated by comparing your calculated BMR to average BMR values for different age groups. A higher BMR relative to your chronological age suggests a "younger" metabolic age.
