📐 Miter & Bevel Angle Calculator

Set the saw for a perfect corner: enter the corner angle and pick flat or crown molding, and get the miter and bevel angles to dial in.

Miter vs bevel

The miter is the angle the saw blade swings across the table; the bevel tilts the blade off vertical. Flat molding only needs a miter of half the corner. Crown molding sits tilted away from the wall by its spring angle, so it needs both a miter and a bevel — the formulas here use the standard 38°/45°/52° spring angles.
