💸 Reward Site Earnings Reality Check
Work out what survey and get-paid-to sites are actually worth per hour before you give them
your evenings. Uses realistic rate bands rather than the “earn £500 a month from your
sofa” numbers, then compares the result to what an hour of paid work would pay you.
AD — AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
The Freecash link at the bottom of this tool is an affiliate link. If you sign up through it the
site owner earns a small referral commission, at no cost to you and not out of your earnings.
That is a financial incentive to recommend it, so treat the recommendation accordingly. The
calculator above the link works identically for every site and does not favour Freecash.

The catches, before you sign up
- Screen-outs are unpaid. You can spend five minutes on a survey and be told you do not qualify, for nothing. The rates above already assume that happens often.
- You are the product. Your answers and your attention are what is being sold to advertisers. Fine if you go in knowing it.
- Minimum payout thresholds. Most sites will not release money until you clear a floor, so early effort is locked up.
- Card-detail trials. Some of the better-paying app offers need a free trial with a card. Cancel in time or you pay for something you did not want.
- Rate decay. The high-value offers are finite. The first month is usually the best month you will have.
What would usually beat it
Ranked by realistic return on the same hours. If you are trying to fix a money problem rather
than fill idle time, these come first.
- An extra hour of actual paid work — pays the full comparison wage instead of a fraction of it.
- Selling things you already own. One hour clearing a shelf usually beats a week of surveys.
- Cashback on spend you were doing anyway. Free money, but only on purchases already planned.
- Switching bills or bank accounts. Lumpy, irregular, but the hourly rate is far higher.
- Reward sites. Where this tool lands them: genuine idle time with no better use.
If you have decided the idle time is worth it, Freecash is a reasonable place to start —
it pays out for real, and the game offers are the best-value part of it.
