Save it as a transparent PNG to drop into a document, or as a vector SVG that stays sharp at any size. Everything is drawn and exported on your device: your signature is never uploaded, and nothing leaves the browser.
PNG is exported at three times the on-screen size with a transparent background, so it drops straight onto a document, a letter or a slide with no white box around it. SVG is vector: infinitely scalable, a couple of kilobytes, and it will look sharp on a printed contract. Use PNG for pasting into documents, SVG for anything that will be printed or placed by a designer.
The typed option uses fonts that exist on your own computer, so a signature created here may render slightly differently on a machine with different fonts — export an SVG and the shapes are converted to paths only if your browser keeps them as outlines, so for a guaranteed identical result use a drawn signature, or embed the font in the receiving document.
On the law: in the UK and most of Europe a simple electronic signature is valid for the great majority of everyday contracts — tenancy agreements, employment contracts, invoices, delivery notes. Land and some other transactions require a formal process, and every jurisdiction is different, so check what applies where you are. This tool draws an image of your signature; it does not verify identity and it is not a cryptographic digital signature. Nothing you draw is uploaded, stored anywhere but this page, or sent over the network.
