☎️ Could an AI Voice Clone Trick Your Family?

Run a five-scenario voice-clone scam drill, then build a simple family verification plan. The defence is not spotting a fake voice: it is slowing down and checking through a separate route you already trust.

No audio, names, phone numbers or secret phrases are collected. This is a practice drill, not a detector or a guarantee. Familiar voices, caller ID and even a family challenge phrase are not proof of identity on their own.

Why practise this?

A convincing voice or urgent story can short-circuit careful thinking. These scenarios rehearse one durable habit: stop the pressured interaction, then verify independently using contact details you already had—not a number or link supplied by the caller.

What the drill can and cannot do

This page plays no audio and analyses no voice. A fake can sound natural, and current/future cloning methods will change. Caller ID can also be misleading. Do not rely on pauses, glitches, emotion, a video call or a phrase as proof. A separately initiated call to a number already saved—or checking with another trusted person—does not depend on recognizing a synthetic voice.

If you have already sent money, contact your bank or payment provider immediately through an official route and preserve the messages and call details. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly. This educational drill cannot investigate a crime or recover money.
