An honest ask from the person who built this
You're reading this because you used one of the tools here. There are 483 of them. They're free, they have no ads, they don't track you, they don't want your email, and they never ask you to sign up for anything.
That's not a growth strategy. It's just how I think tools should work. But it also means this site earns nothing on its own.
It's built and maintained by one person — not a company, not a team, not a startup with funding. If something here saved you ten minutes, and you can spare the price of a coffee, that's what keeps it going. If you can't, use it anyway. That's genuinely fine.

What your money actually does
Being straight with you, because vague appeals annoy me too:
- Hosting is free. This runs on GitHub Pages and costs nothing to serve. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
- The domain isn't. That renews yearly.
- Time is the real cost. Every tool here was written by hand. Money buys the hours to build more of them.
Free ways to help
These genuinely matter as much as money:
- Tell one person. Send them the specific tool that helped you, not the homepage.
- Link it from a forum answer, a blog post, or wherever someone is asking for the thing a tool here already does.
- Tell me what's broken or what's missing — that shapes what gets built next.

Russell Head, from Luton. I also make music as MrProphecy — that's a separate thing living on the same domain, and it's also free.
