🪑 Event Seating Planner

Seat guests at tables for a wedding, party or dinner: households stay together, people you name are kept apart, and friends are seated together where possible. Your list never leaves the browser.

Guests — one household or group per line; names on the same line always sit together Table sizes — e.g. “8, 8, 10” or “5x8” for five tables of eight

Keep apart — one pair per line: Name / Name

Seat together if possible — Name / Name

Add guests and table sizes, then press Plan seating.

The planner searches many arrangements and keeps the one that breaks the fewest of your rules. “Keep apart” outranks “seat together”. If a plan is impossible (say, two people who must be apart are in the same household) it tells you which rule could not be met.
